WTT Anyone feel like trading? S&W 500 Magnum (with scope)

I think we just have to do it at an FFL, right? I think I want to get rid of my S&W 500 Magnum (with scope) and get some other wheel gun(s) I would actually use. Things I want:
1) A Lady Smith (with or without hammer, but without is preferred).
2) A Ruger New Blackhawk in 44 mag (or 454 Casull is OK)
3) An 1875 (Maybe an Uberti?) in 45 Long Colt.

I figure the retail on my S&W with scope is probably somewhere about $1,300 bucks or so; so I would be interested in trading for an equal amount of retail value. I think the scope is a Thompson Center that was made for that magnum.

Looks like a colt defender to me, but could be wrong. It happens once in a while. Of it is nice gun. I've been thinking of one. Sorry I'm wrong the defender does not have the grip safety.

That's a Colt Officer I bought in the mid 80's. The furniture I got off ebay - that's the wrap-around Cocobolo wood you can get for Kimber ultra carry's. They fit the same. I don't think you can get Colt Officer anymore - I think they went bankrupt a few months ago. But the Kimber is pretty much the same animal if you want one of those. The only difference on these smaller 1911's is the barrel length is shorter, and it's 7 rounds instead of 8. I threw my Ruger 45 in the safe and this is back to being my carry piece. It was my carry back in the 80s and 90s. I'm all nostalgic this year. ;-)

Not sure you are allowed the go from a 500 S&W to a Lasy Smith without getting the operation!

(Kidding, the lady smith is a Great choice!)

My thinking:
1) I will never shoot the 500. I only bought it because someone I know didn't like it and he gave it to me for $400. At that price how could I say no?
2) The Lady Smith would be for my wife. I can even get her pink grips for it.
3) No way I am getting the old lady a gun and not get one for myself. That's bad Ju-ju. So the other revolver would be for me.

Is the Magnum drilled and tapped for that scope mount? If so, Did it come that way from the factory? Was there a rear sight?

The scope mount is made by S&W and is optional / additional on the 500 8". They also give you the rear sight.

S&W 500 has been swapped today. Went with a S&W Model 10 in 357 magnum and a S&W 637 Airweight in 38 +P.
