I want to get into hunting more. My parents property is 2 hours away each way. They only have 9 acres. I do have other land available to hunt, but went out yesterday to hunt and the guy at the top of the hill is just an asshole. He’s nice in that he lets me hunt his land, but will be up all night shooting, blasting music, poaches, and even though there was only 2-3” of snow decided he needed to use hi tractor to plow his driveway and the entire logging road. He throws trash all over his property. I’m pretty sure he took a doe and just took a bit of meat and left the rest for the coyotes.
Also my parents property is in 9p so it’s almost impossible to get a doe tag. I saw all doe. I’m sure there is a buck on top of the hill, but the guy was up there hunting.
Im just looking for some public land to deer hunt on occasionally in Erie county. I would consider Niagara county as well. I’m looking for first hand experience if you have hunted there.
