My son in law just sent a text saying NY passed a new law that all long guns must be registered and also an owner must have a million dollar liability policy . I know they were proposed but not passed earlier. Haven't seen anything on the news.

I only own a 308 bolt action deer gun( that would be all that is registered as I don't want to give up deer hunting, and don't want to get stopped in the woods with it) But maybe just take up handgun hunting and buy a Xbow.

It's not possible to get liability insurance for firearms. They already banned carry coverage.

And no law that, in practice, allows no firearms ownership will stand up. And if it does, fuck all the other states that allow something that direct of a violation to stand within the union without responding.
