I am looking at a Buck 120 or a 119. Anyone have one of these? If so what is your opinion? I already have a 124. Just adding to the collection.

I have a Buck 120. Purchased it back in the 80's. it sit's in storage as I don't have much use for it. I find it too big for hunting. I prefer to carry a 3"- 4" blade for hunting/ hiking.
The Buck 120 has a 12" OA length. the Buck 119 is a little shorter at 10" OA length. both are similar in design.
As to which one... that's a personal preference and depends on what you want to use it for.

Well I decided to buy both. I got a 120 with the cocobolo handle and a 119 75th anniversary edition with the cocobolo handle. I will post a picture when they arrive.
They will be worth there wait in gold when the Zombie Apocalypse comes.Excellent skull penetrating brain stabbers,and save on bullets!

Hey Cc, that Puma looks great. Love the blade. The scales/handle look just a bit thin/small. Is it perspective in the pic or is that assessment accurate?

Damn, those studs are pointing in the wrong direction!
It fits my hand perfect. Its a bit thinner than the Buck but the Buck handle is a bit thick in my hand, so its good.
The knife is perfectly weighted and very well made.
The handle is Micarta and feels good.
I have knives that cost 10x more that arent as well made.
Ive had probably a dozen Puma knives and all were great. For a $30 knife, it cant be beat IMO.
Id like to make a sheath for my buck.
The one that came with it had a removable plastic liner.
The liner is loosely in the sheath and will fall out if the sheath is turned over.
Without the liner, the knife rattles like crazy.

I really like the Buckmaster. They are on the high price side. Might have to look into one of those at some point.
