Maybe you should be thought about that before you denied immigration requests for turning over those being held for trial in unrelated offenses (to immigration). Maybe you should've thought about that before you denied Federal access to NYS Dept of Motor Vehicles data on undocumented immigrants obtaining identification and driver's licenses. And more, much more!

You can't slap the hand that you want to feed you when your stocks are empty! Reap what you sow! Too fucking bad!

I agree. 100%. Nearly all PD need to revamp and do things differently. There is too much wrong in the way we Police here in the State and throughout the entire Country.

While we are at the revamping of these Departments, Americans really need to have a serious conversation about the communities and the cultures within our boarders.

Most of our policing problems were created by legislatures, and can't be fixed until we un-screw the laws you guys are asked to enforce, and the penalties the courts impose.

We may need to completely reboot the system, but that’s a very scary prospect at the moment.

I don’t see that there is any fixing the system or the policing the way they want. Cuomo literally said if you send a cop there the only tool is arrest and they have a gun so what do you expect to happen. People are dying he said. I couldn’t believe it as if every police encounter ends with an arrest or death. That’s simply not so. Look at car stops? I was truly disgusted at that statement.

To the cops on here what percentage of encounters end in arrest?
