Anyone watching AG Barr testify right now?

I loved this. Barr was being berated by some democratic a-hole about how church leaders denounced the actions of federal officers. He responded "was that before or after the fire was put out?"

“I watched (a good bit of) the Barr testimony in earnest. The whole spectacle was shameful. AG Barr, as he's known to do, gave many salient, common sense points during the few moments he was allowed to speak.
House Democrat questioners absolutely lost their minds. Most resolved to flat out deny his right to speak, many of them hysterical while doing so. Reps consistently "reclaimed their time" literally the moment Barr began to answer. I've never seen anything like it. They were determined not to allow him to speak by any means necessary.
The truth is these were the acts of desperation - not necessarily from losing; they unfortunately have a formidable coalition. Rather, they have to avert American eyes from what is happening on the ground. The Squad is behind the wheel of the Democrat party. Marxism is their religion (yes, including Omar's) and no one dare become a traitor to the foot soldiers in their holy war, come burned-down courthouses or blinded officers.
The media refuse to show the destruction, or downplay it when they do, while their Democrat partners on Capitol Hill filibuster their way to a silenced Attorney General. The media/Congress tag-team is in high gear, scrambling to convince you not to believe your own lying eyes. That spoiled brat throwing Molotov cocktails through windows? He's a good guy; a freedom fighter saving the world from fascism. The border patrol guy weaving his way through a hostile crowd to arrest the man throwing industrial grade fireworks? He's the bad guy; the oppressor. This is the narrative that must be sold, and it can't be done absent mass hysteria.
It takes a Herculean PR effort to blame law enforcement for the collapse of cities. But that's what's happening. Corporate media in tandem with one half of Congress make for a giant megaphone. I am actually very optimistic that the majority of Americans will see through this absurdity, if not by now then as things worsen. But the Marxists aren't going anywhere, even if they overplay their hand initially. They are totalitarian at their core and will do what's necessary for power.
If today's hearing with Barr should teach us anything, it's that half our government overtly supports a Marxist insurrection. When the Speaker of the House praises aspiring courthouse arsonists and opposes the men sent to arrest them, the civil war has already begun. I pray that we can defeat this movement by civil means. But I'm preparing otherwise, and so should you.”

This is why I have concluded democrats simply do not like America. Not all. Most democrats are like most republicans. They don't pay much attention. They picked a team and that's that. Truly 90% of republicans and 90% of democrats could hang out with one another and not even know or care about the other's party if it really got down to brass tacks. But the really intense leftists now do hate America. They hate what it stands for. And the democratic leaders are paying heed to this small minority of them.
