I have been wanting to throw a 37mm onto a build for ages but the ones I've seen that I like are pricey.

Doesn't this also require sign off by a local Police agency? No police agency in NY will sign off on something like this.
The very definition of "arbitrary and capricious".I have not read all the pages.
I will add.
Of the 3 AOW serbu style weapons, two were denied by the ATF stating NYS laws and the last one was approved.
No rhyme or reason. It took 16 months to gwt the approval for the one.
No amount of discussion changed the other two.
That's the old rules. New rules most people form a trust and the trust owns the NFA items not the individual. There are no BGCs or fingerprints, etc for a trust.
Also, there *are* plenty of people in NY who have already done this, it's not a one off idea.
So do you have any info that may help me get one of these thanks
Didn't realize it had changed again.totally 100% wrong. Please do research before posting.......
obummer changed the trust laws several years ago. Now EVERYONE mentioned in the trust needs fingerprints. Basically every time a new item is added as well!
The BGC is basically the tax stamp. That is what they do before they issue you the stamp......an extensive check! FWIW ffl needs to fill out a 4473 but are NOT required to call it if if they don't want to. (See instructions on 4473!). If they do call it in the must follow through with the results. (ie if denied then can not transfer)

It's amazing how many times the law changes without congress ever passing anything. It's almost like our whole system of government is a sham anymore.
