No need for ARs anyway. Can't hunt or fish with them.
I heard they are better boat anchors than guns.No need for ARs anyway. Can't hunt or fish with them.
the lower alone is not semi automatic.I don't think that's accurate. Remember the key feature is the ability to accept a detachable magazine. So since the lower is considered the "firearm" and we are now a one feature test state, having the ability to accept a detachable mag (the one feature) and having a pistol grip would constitute two features. It would be illegal.
I understand that now, makes sense. For some reason though I thought it didn't matter if you separated the upper and lower with the safe act.the lower alone is not semi automatic.
Post Numero Uno, and from Chicargo (his spelling, not mine), no less.
Is that you, Rahm? Come on, fess up.
Sorry about the typo. I am spending a week in Chicago visiting my grandson so I registered while here. My NY accent interfered with my spelling. It has been corrected and when I get back to NY I will also change my location back to NY.
As for being a troll I'm to old for such games. My friend back in NY is in a quandary and knows I have had a pistol license for 30+ years and thought I might know the answer o his question. Obviously I don't and turned to the internet hoping to find an answer for him so he does not need to consult an attorney that handles firearms issues.
Thanks for the non bashing responses,
I never understood that. Why is it best to consult an attorney?Always best to consult an attorney, regardless of the cost. Don't listen to these jamoke's

The law is written in plain english. It isn't written in "attorney only" code that you can't read.
An attorney can only give you his or her interpretation based on his or her knowledge of english. If he or she misinterprets it, you don't get an exemption from prosecution.
Huh?Really this from YOU!!!
