AR iron sight recommendations

hey everyone. I have been slowly putting an AR together, and I want to have iron sights on it. What are some recommendations aside from the Magpul ones that people seem to be happy with? I have an older set of el-cheapo ones that don’t have a lot of adjustment. On another upper that shot low, they didn’t have enough adjustment to dial in. Plus they sit like 2” taller than the rail. Thanks guys.

White Oak modified and pinned rear sights are the best out there. You can change apertures and even add a lens in there as your eyesight will require.

Do want them to be foldable, or are you running irons full time? If the latter I suggest the Daniel Defense Fixed sights.

I have Troy (front is H&K "ring" style) on my AR 9 and love em. Had cheap Amazon ones which... sucked.

My .223 doesn't currently wear buis so my experience is limited but I do like the Troys.

I know you said besides Magpul, but have you looked at the Magpul Pro sights? They are made of steel and very solid and very low profile when folded down. I use them on my home defense AR along with a red dot co-witnessed and I think they are awesome.

There was some data out there that folding sights can be more durable that fixed due to their ability to absorb shock better.
