The Extar EP9 just came into my radar. A US made $400 price tag and Glock mag compatibility makes me interested. Any body been able to find what the SAFE ACT has for braces on pistols?

They say nothing about a pistol brace. Just make sure to pin the magazine

Braces are not a stock, they can be put on any handgun/pistol legally in all 50 states.

I double checked and I still can't see where I wrote, up until this reply that, "you cannot put a brace on a rifle or shotgun" on this thread? If you read the thread title, the question asked was specifically inquiring about AR PISTOLS. Just because I didn't mention rifles and shotguns can utilize them legally on a federal level as well, doesn't mean that implies that I said you cannot put one on a different type of firearm legally.

This one is NY legal and you don't have to fix the magazine. It comes in at under 50 oz's from the factory. Just add buffer tube and arms brace.
