AR pistol with Serbu = Masterkey?

Ok, so I have an Anderson pistol that I built and placed on my pistol permit. Fixed mag, Tailhook brace, and I'm adding a Law Folder.

If the Serbu Super Shorty can be legally purchased in NY through Bullet Guy, (after CLEO review and $5 tax stamp), and added to my pistol permit....

Can I combine them to make a Masterkey? (I have no professional need for such a weapon, but it might be a fun gun to make).

By attaching it to the rifle, the Serbu now has a stock and a short barrel. The same would apply if you somehow attached a pistol to the rifle.

It's not that I intend to, as you say, "make fun of your paintshop skills" , but your shotgun image is tiny compared to your picture.
Just google up what a 'masterkey' set up actually looks like and you'll clearly see it takes a good amount of barrel length and wouldn't work ; regardless of the legality.. which I'm not even going to bother thinking about.

I've got a 10.5" barrel and a roughly 4" blast can, so it's about 13. 5" from the front of my magazine to the tip. If the Serbu is 16.5" long, and I remove the pistol grip, it should be pretty close to the same length. The muzzle of the Serbu would be roughly an inch in front of the blast can, no?

1st. You no longer need a CLEO signoff anymore.

2nd, i am pretty sure you can not combine two NFA weapons to make one. But.....i am not sure the above is a combination.......

A pic more to scale. Not my pistol, found on web, and reversed to make it easier.

Also, my blast can is a little longer that this one, but that's definitely a 10.5" barrel. I think it would spoon in there pretty well! Front heavy as hell, and impossible to shoot one handed with the brace, but great from the hip for zombies!

I've seen drop-in cage-like thingies for full size pump shotguns to shoot those short shotshells. I wonder if one would work on a Serbu. It uses a Remington or Mossberg action, so it should, right?

That would give you *maybe 4 rounds in the Serbu instead of 3.

Pretty handy for when your 10 round mag is empty, but the zombies are still charging you!

Nice! I've often thought that having a backup, short scatter gun would have come in handy, "back in the day". I would have loved to have had a Raging Judge filled with shotshells to fall back on.

This one in the vid is only single shot, so it'd probably be a great breacher, but the SSS would be a little better in CQB, I think. Plus, the bottom feed reloads would be quicker than break breach reloads.

*I think the SSS can be converted to accept mags, too. We'd have to keep it to 10 here in FUACville, USA.

How about some mounting ideas?
