In reality,,,if you buy a fixed stock it doesnt matter what length it is. It uses a rifle buffer and a rifle buffer tube,,,,,commercial or milspec is the only thing you need to determine when purchasing,,,,, when choosing stock and buffer tube,,,,buy milspec for both or commercial for both.

Well the Magpul fixed stock carbine length looks good Imo and is only like 30 bucks. That's will slide right over the rifle lenth tube? What I was worried about was the tube being to long and the stock wont seat right.

I was wrong with my initial reply,,,,this is what it says in the description

• Fixed length for standard mil-spec sized M4 Carbine receiver extension tubes (not included) from manufacturers such as Colt, LMT, Ruger, S&W, SIG, and others (please see the note below)

From what I understand,,,its a 6 position carbine tube that is used for this fixed stock. Thats a new one for me

Patrick Henry or no you will need to pin any adjustable stock as adjustable is a banned feature.

Main thing is milspec vs. Commercial.
