Hello all, new member, first time AR builder.
I'm going to be building my first New York compliant AR15 in .300BLK.
Thinking about purchasing this upper and lower kit and then putting this thordsen stock and grip on it.
It comes with a mil spec buffer tube in the kit, my question is what size thordsen stock do I get thatll fit it? A carbine or a rifle stock?
All of this will go on my psa stripped lower.
Another question.
What is the best way to deal with the barrel threads?
Can I cut them off on a 16" barrel or am I gonna be too short after?
Should I weld on a cap?
Any links for a good one to use would be appreciated. Thank you.
