AR15 Trigger Lock - for rifle with fixed magazine?

I am looking for a trigger lock that will work on an AR15 with a fixed magazine. Cables won't work because of the fixed magazine. None of the trigger locks I have googled look like they physically cover the pin on the trigger guard - so the pin could be knocked out, trigger guard removed, and the lock could be removed. Does anyone have a trigger lock they are using that works well on the AR15 platform?

I saw this ejection port lock as a possible option --- AR15 BLACK RAIN ORDNANCE CHAMBER LOCK or what seems to be the same thing for a bit cheaper IC-LOCK for AR15. The keyed locks look like they are easily picked in the reviews.

It is so ironic - because my son needs to comply with the "SAFE act" and he fixed his magazine we are struggling to find a safe way for him to store the rifle at his apartment, none of my other locks will work. The SAFE act is continuing to make things less safe...

Maybe I just need to buy either of the above options and move on. I am essentially just buying a little insurance protection so that I can say I did everything responsible in case it is stolen and used in a crime. Both options will only keep honest people honest - and if anyone breaks into his apartment they have already passed the not honest point. haha.

Buy an aluminum gun case and use pad locks.

Check out americase.

Or just remove the bcg and lock it in a small safe. Or hide it.

If you can afford an AR-15, you can afford a small gun safe. I have one and it's great for an apartment. It'll work better than everything else.

Do you have kids in the house? no lock will prevent a theft and once the gun is stolen police have to prove the criminals didn't cut the locks off. If your trying to satisfy some locked gun law, any gun case you have and a TSA lock through the zippers will do. That's how I satisfy Westchesters transport law.

no they will not .. if you fly with a gun .. its no TSA lock .. your own lock and key ..

and i wouldn't trust a TSA lock for anyone .. the master key looks pretty simple ..

RE -EAD MY POST! I WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT TSA "REQUIREMENTS" FOR A PLANE! If traveling on a plane and its not in a TSA approved case your not getting arrested, because no law is being broken, your just not getting on the plane.

I was talking about trigger lock / locked gun laws, which only require a trigger lock, action lock (cable) or a locked case and they do not specify any specific type of case or lock.

Understand that normal gun locks are really just for toddlers. They are trivial to cut and not difficult to pick with a little practice and a $20 lock picking kit.
