Yea, it's a little blue corner of a purple state.

Arizona is kinda an odd ball because you have conservative urban areas and liberal rural ones.

Also, based on what I read, this guy just (stupidly) fired some warning shots *after* having heard gun fire, and then they found a body and tried to pin it on him.

Sounds like some coyotes executed someone on his property, and now they're trying to blame him for it.

1st off, don't fire warning shots, they're stupid.

2nd, if you're going to fire a live round for signaling, put it in the ground, not the air. It's just as loud in the ground 20 yards in front of you, and then you can say definitively where the round ended up. (That can't be from my gun, the round I fired ended up right there).

It's actually illegal to fire in the air like that in AZ, after some kid got killed a while ago from one coming down. One of the few gun laws that isn't an abomination against the constitution.

They should convict this guy of that misdemeanor and then find out who actually killed the "migrant"

I’m not sure the cartels are much different because in NYS they are going after law abiding citizens and ignoring criminals and gang members.
