A 15-year-old boy shot Monday at a junior high school in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, is in very serious condition at the children's hospital in Little Rock, authorities said.

Pine Bluff Police Chief Kelvin Sergeant said investigators think the shooter is a 15-year-old male who is also a student at Watson Chapel Junior High.
The suspect was located in the neighborhood near the school, hiding behind a house.
He was taken into custody and is currently being held in the juvenile justice center in Pine Bluff, authorities said. Formal charges have not yet been filed.

BTW, just because this shooting occurred on school grounds, I personally do not call this a school shooting.

From what I have read, the two involved had a beef, first day back to school and the was some sort of thing to be settled.

They have to figure out what type of gun they want to ban first and then that info will be released. Assuming it was a handgun since he ambushed the kid in the hall between classes.

It's a glock AR-47 ceramic ghost gun that was 3d printed by the kid in his room, and it can fire 30 clips a second and pass through metal detectors.

When I was in Atlanta, our district had at least one stabbing and one shooting a week. It just became commonplace. Nobody ever blamed the guns.
