• Timothy George Simpkins, 18, was released on bond on Thursday after a bondsman paid his $75k bail
• He pulled a gun from his backpack on Wednesday at Timberview High School shortly after 9am
• Video taken minutes earlier shows him being beaten up by another boy in his classroom
• His family says he was being 'bullied' because he has nice things and was constantly picked on
• Witnesses told police that Simpkins shot the 'bully' seven or eight times before shooting a teacher and fleeing
• He fled campus then turned himself in to cops on Wednesday afternoon along with his attorney
• Police won't say where the gun came from, who it is registered to or how he was able to get it into school
• The school does not have metal detectors like many other schools
• The teenager who was shot has not been named; he remains in the hospital

Bullied? Looking like Bullshit from the 18 year old shooter's attorney and shooter's family. The 15 year old shooting victim is reported (by family, friends, and school ... so who really knows) to have no gang connections, has good grades / school attendance, a steady girlfriend and a job.
It also seems this 18 year old punk Simpkins was rightfully getting his ass kicked by a 15 year old Zacchaeus Selby after Simpkins bullied Selby's girlfriend. That probably explains why the young Selby called Simkins the whore as he pummeled him.

Contrary to the shooter's PR spin, the shooting was not a heat of the moment event of a bullied Simpkins protecting himself from a violent gang member. It is consistently reported that the shooting took place after a teacher (who was subsequently shot in the back) broke up the fight and had both students separated and calmed down.
