Real quick to notice 2 real quick lessons

1st and the biggest lesson... Quality holster, quality holster, Quality Holster...

2nd lesson... looks like a manual safety saved someone's life vs costing them their life... guy actually got lucky his gun had a safety and the attacker didn't know about it or how to use it

Lucky when he didnt need to be, if he just used a quality holster, this would have mostly been avoided

The other piece to that which is often overlooked is a quality platform on which to mount the holster. Most often, a good belt.

Another reason to train on all types of guns. I once had a commander ask me why I had an AK and SKS when the AR is closer to what we are issued. I asked him if he ever heard of battle field pick ups and if he needed to shoot a. Enemy’s weapon would he know how to do it and could he hit what he was aiming at?

Just think of all the new gun buyers sending their handgun back to the manufacturer cuz they don't know how to use a safety.

Guy got lucky but he also caused his own problems.

1. Carry every day. You shouldn't need to go to the car to get it and be unprepared. What if the guy caused the problem initially instead of leaving and returning later?

2. Yes you need a solid holster. He might have had the nicest holster in the world, but because of #1 he didn't have it on him already.

3. When the guy says he's going to return to cause problems, get someone on the phone and get the cops rolling. Do you want to fight alone or would you rather have help there or at least already close by? I know I would.
