"Assault Weapon" ammo ban - Senate Bill S314

So, the morons are at it again. Two Democrats cosponsored a bill that would be a virtual ban on "assault weapon" ammo limiting "assault weapon ammo" to 20 rounds per 120 days. What qualifies as "assault weapon ammo"? Beats me. They don't list which cartridges, types, or any technical details about what, specifically, constitutes "assault weapon ammo". Obviously they would like it to be as all-encompassing as possible.

Almost every common cartridge has a firearm chambered in it that would be considered an "assault weapon" by this trash state. The .223 and .308 are obviously out. Think your .357 and .44 Mags are safe? Nope, you might feed an extra assaulty Desert Eagle with it. The 9mm? Hell no, that's the assaultiest of pistol calibers. The .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .380 ACP, 5.7, .22LR, etc. Fuggedaboudit.

Don't take for granted that it will go nowhere and be sure to voice your opposition for whatever it's worth.

Yeah, but like every other infringement that comes out of Albany it will take YEARS and a ton of money to get thrown out, and in the mean time Albany will prosecute everyone they can. Even if you later get let out your life is still ruined.

"assault" weapon ammo is available world wide. No unlicensed legal standing American has an "assault" weapon. Full auto was banned in the 30's of the last century. The military uses shotguns so I guess shotgun shells should be included. I don't vote for a "Party" that is Brain Dead.

What they really meant in the proposed law is "POSSESSION" of more than 20 rounds per 120 days., not just limiting the sale. They think that this proposed law does it.

Possession will come with a simple addition to the law next year if it passes..

That will make everyone a criminal who has more than 20 rounds of ammo.
