Nyack man charged with possessing illegal assault weapons
NEW CITY – A Nyack man is in the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail following his arrest on several weapons-related charges.

Paul Elmowsky, Jr., 66, was charged with eight counts of criminal possession of a weapon, 22 counts of possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device and misdemeanor marijuana possession.

Authorities said there is no known connection to terrorism at this time.
