So, if you buy ammo for your 10/22, you can buy as much as you want. If you but it for your 15-22, only 20 rounds if the mag is pinned, but2 rounds if the magazine is removable - capacity of the "assault weapon" would be 1 round in the chamber.

To be purposely vague and cause further confusion? Or hope that everyone just decides to sell only 20 rounds every 3 months? What constitutes a sale? If I buy a box from Pete at the LGS and then have Charlie ring up another box, is that one sale or two?
