ATF: 423M guns in America, 1.2 per person, 8.1B rounds of ammunition a year
Well, I think they missed a few hundred million give or take, lol...
Well, I think they missed a few hundred million give or take, lol...
option A(the pr one): lot's of fancy calculations involving estimates relating to nics checks, anecdotal evidence and averages.Exqueeze me but...
How do they know?

We use algorithms every day for everything from weather predictions to logistics optimization.
but the weather predictions are like 80+% wrong LOL ..
where did the Ammo data come from .. ?? ATF has no Ammo NICS check ... LOL ..
Stick you hand out the window, if it is gets wet, that is a 100% chance or rain. No artificial intelligence required, only
the natural one. lol
How did you come up with that number? They cannot account for all of the 80% receivers that are being made into functioning guns everyday.
I would add another 1.2 million just to account for those.
How did you come up with that number?
just a guess, 1% of the supposed 100 million+ gun owners. How did you come up with that number?
Oh! ...well, even guesses should have some foundation or baseline. I would be surprised those many people have the time and or means but I have no clue nor reference to make any kind of guess.just a guess, 1% of the supposed 100 million+ gun owners.
Which is why I chose 1% of reported gun owners. I know several people that have made 80% receivers into working firearms. I am only 1/100,000,000 and I know 8 people that make/have made there own guns, 1.2 million guns made from 80% receivers is a plausible number Just based upon my sample size.Oh! ...well, even guesses should have some foundation or baseline. I would be surprised those many people have the time and or means but I have no clue nor reference to make any kind of guess.
The majority of shooters dont even know how to properly install a scope and rings let alone getting into fabrication tasks.
That's alot of door to door confiscation! ..............That ain't happening.......ever!
Hahahaha... yup!
As for firearms, it's a guess, real crapshoot because they're only using numbers from 98' onward. Guess there were no guns before then, lol. Even Bloombucks couldn't afford a national buyback program if he funded it himself.
