Apparently this only applies to imported firearms for now. With a Biden win, they are suspecting it will transfer to domestic and home made arms.

How the federal governments definition of "handgun" changes based on where it was built just boggles the mind.

But these are the same people who's definition of "crime" changes with the political affiliation of the accused, so i guess....

you would think but this isn't really an ex post facto issue, A Law wasn't created to penalize what was once legal. Its an interpretation changed. So if it goes to court they would have to find the law unconstitutional or the interpretation flat out wrong for the changes not to stick.

I've argued this for some time, if a laws interpretation can be changed like this then its obviously constitutionally vague, if law enforcement is unable to under stand its true meaning how em i suppose to?
