Ummm...so? Not illegal.

Screwdrivers, hammers, vises, sandpaper, and files can all be used for "gunsmithing"...or for building a cabinet.

Hello, State Police...my neighbor that I don't like has a drill press in his garage. You may want to investigate.

The 3rd holed drilled, in 39, AR Ghost Gun receivers, for the auto sear, is a big no no.

He also possessed a drill jig and other tools.....most charges except the MG will likely be dismissed.

Impatience got him..... be patient..............you got guns now..........maybe neutered, but still legal.

I have fired MG's in Pa at the Keystone Shooting Range, near Cranberry...........Thompsons, AR's, etc...expensive but they are really not needed....semi is enough.

BEE PATIENT.
He will have to be for the next decade.

Reminds me of two things:

1. Loose lips sink ships, so to say.
2. With the absolute proliferation of all type of tracking devices, - (hypothetically speaking now, - NOT offering any kind of advice to break ANY law...), - if you can't afford people finding out where you store stuff, - use a vehicle that cannot be tracked, and for God's sake, - leave your cellphone and other devices at home. And check your things, including clothes for hidden trackers!

That shit from the Matrix is getting closer to reality by the day!

They planted a GPS on his vehicle, there is very little someone can do to prevent that other than never leaving it unattended outside. He probably wasnt even aware he was on their radar.

This whole thing stinks. His crimes seem to be living in NY and being dumb enough to store NFA items where it could be found.

Don’t kid yourself, they can get inside your garage and plant a tracker without difficulty. Or, when you park it out at some store,- even just during a short errand run.

Something to think about. This dude was an admin on the gatalog rocketchat. If they seized his devices which I am sure they did, they have quite the honeypot of information that they "legally" couldn't use before.

Well, there is plenty you 'could' do about it ...

There's GPS jammers for one! And many more! There's electronic sweeps can be done as well.

Loose lips definitely sink ships, and again, of you're ever worried that the Big Bad Wolf might come some day, there are ways to insulate yourself, just be smart! That's all... Be smart as most criminals aren't! And if you aren't a criminal it should be because you're being smart!

Or hey, some States, lol, you don't have this problem and can live freely! Anyways... I'll just leave that one there ;)

what if the 3rd hole is off by 1/8 of a inch or even a 1/2 inch ... look my lower has a extra hole ..

Back in the 1980's, my office ran afoul of the NYS Inspector General............. I would go to the big parking lot under rt 690 to go to field work,........I could easily see the stakeout personnel...........ez to see...anomalies.
I told the other guys................PARANOIA!! THEY SAID.

5 guys were caught..one now dead, would like clockwork go to his job at K mart or the Fayetteville VFD......another dead one, would go to his rental properties, another also passed, to his telecommunications job, another to play golf, another to drink at the Elks Club.

NO ONE WAS FIRED OF COURSE.
I was followed for months..........they even had an aircraft a Red Cessna that everyone saw regularly flying low..........NYSP airplane.

I was always a good boy....

I was taught some spycraft, like how to id and break a tail, by a now dead shirttail relative, American Spy...he had a closet full of Military Officers uniforms for all the services and was gone for 1-2 years at a time........very dangerous guy. He was involved in Iran-Contra...knew Reagan.

Anyway it stuck, always plan on you being watched on line or in your travels.

THIS IS THE IRON CURTAIN........ENTERTAIN THEM.

Thinking a little bit outside of the box with any company or individual that owns a 3D printer, lathe, CNC machine, a Dremel, etc., access to a hardware store with some imagination and not much talent can create a firearm all the way up to a self-repeating gun (fully automatic/machine gun).

Someone needs to challenge automatic/machine guns under the currently laws.

I for one don't have a need for a machine gun or a fully automatic gun, but they should be publicly accessible to those that entertained to want one freely.

Also I see it infringing on people's other constitutional rights.

all you have to be is a cook and read a recipe .... "boston" ... needed no 3d printer ..
