Not really. Throughout much of the state, the voters did not vote for James. James got a lot of votes from cities, she did not get a lot of votes from most geographic areas of the state.
New Yorkers as a whole voted her in. Those that stayed home and decided not to vote must have thought she was doing a great job. They all assisted in voting for her and her policies. All peoples, one way another will reap what they sow.
I hope the next four years are as pain filled as possible for this State. Does not make a hill of beans that she possibly won because of the NYC vote, she won because, as usual, too many people decided to stay home. Watching reruns or ESPN was far more important than protecting their Rights.
Always with the "everyone stayed home and didn't vote" excuse. It's tired and played out. Record turn out for "voting" this year. There is no voting out any of this shit. It's getting worse. It will continue to get worse. It is terminal.

They have endless resources is right. It’s pretty sad that we pay FPC and GOA to fight for our rights in court, meanwhile our tax dollars are being used to take away our rights in court. We have to fund both, but only one is optional with extra money if we have it. Pretty sad confusing state of affairs. I’m rather discouraged lately by this, the CCIA standing, and the election. Now I have snow coming, no hunting again this weekend, and my wife is out of town until late Saturday/Sunday. I hope she gets home safe.
You have a very bad habit of making way too many assumptions about people in general. I get that you're upset about how things turned out and you desperately need someone to blame but turning on the people that agree with you is not the right thing to do. NYS is a lost cause. As I previously stated, it will continue to get worse. I hate this state with a passion but for the time being I am stuck here. As for the gun laws; I hope they ban them. And all ammo. I dare them to do it. I'm tired of death by a thousand cuts. There is no voting out of this.

For the record, what James is attempting to enforce is now and has always been part of NYSAFE. Cuomo signed a MoU (memorandum of understanding) that this section of the law would not be enforced until such time as there was a background check for ammunition system up and running. Well, as far as I can tell, MoU's are basically the same as an Executive Order, and are not legally binding, nor must they be honored by the next administration. Hochul is in charge now, and it's her decision to rescind the MoU that Cuomo issued. Now her attack dog James is taking that order and running with it.
It is the mission of the extreme left that pull Hochul's strings to ban ALL firearms from the entire State. They will do anything they can to make that a reality. They will stop at nothing. Ends justify the means. A gun free utopia is their goal, and they're hell bent on achieving it.

People for years on this forum and the old one keep posting election and political maps just like this one, but they are utter bullshit and political fakery. Every fucking election people post these maps to point out how RED NY really is, when nothing could be further from the truth.
Elections are won on population, pure and simple. They are NOT won by who controls the most territory. Its a fucking farce for anyone in NY who isn't a brain damaged libtard to think maps like these are meaningful in any way.
Letitia won by a solid 8.6 percent of the vote according to that infographic, for God's sake! Might as well wipe your ass with that map, at least it'd be something useful.
The major cities and the party they vote for control the vote in this state. There is no doubt about this at all.
