The power of language cannot be denied. This topic would be different had the ceding of the term "standard capacity" never been tolerated. 100 round drums are large capacity. These are merely standard capacity, have been for decades.

When I purchased my Glock 19, I had to wait for my FFL to get "low capacity" 10-round magazines to replace the "standard capacity" 15-round magazines that came STANDARD from the manufacturer.

Capacity is a relative term, anyway. A 100-round drum is hardly high capacity when attached to a firearm with a very high rate of fire. If such a magazine were attached to a minigun, it would be "minuscule capacity."

He could have pushed for reciprocity with our pistol permits yet let if fail, folded to the bump stop ban faster than Taco Bell, already stated he doesn't like suppressors, and I'm sure any mags over 10 rounds will also fall into the "don't like them" category.
His great work for the economy, unemployment, and pushing for a wall isn't ever going to do shit for firearms related bans.
Embolden politicians to ban firearms related issues and other Rights will be next as precedent will be set.

But that's my point, awful quick to ban a firearm accessory. As far as I'm concerned a magazine can be obsoleted by manufacturing design, how fast would he ban 30 round mags calling them accessories? What's next, 10 round mags because they can be changed out fast? Trump did NOT need to support the bump stop ban, and might have been able to put a stop to it. You know damn well suppressors will be next when the push comes even though we still can't have them here in NY.
