And the cancer spreads in our union:
Large-capacity magazines threaten our communities and have no place in our stores, on our streets, or in our homes,” said Attorney General Letitia James.
If they have no place on our streets and in our communities, then why do you issue them to police officers ?
Coalition of 18 AGs Argue that Second Amendment
Allows States to Adopt Gun Safety Laws
Uhh...no
The 14th says otherwise.
When I purchased my Glock 19, I had to wait for my FFL to get "low capacity" 10-round magazines to replace the "standard capacity" 15-round magazines that came STANDARD from the manufacturer. The power of language cannot be denied. This topic would be different had the ceding of the term "standard capacity" never been tolerated. 100 round drums are large capacity. These are merely standard capacity, have been for decades.

Capacity is a relative term, anyway. A 100-round drum is hardly high capacity when attached to a firearm with a very high rate of fire. If such a magazine were attached to a minigun, it would be "minuscule capacity."
With all this support, I bet Trump would sign it. He probably likes standard cap mags as much as suppressors and bump stocks.
States have a responsibility to prevent gun violence and protect public safety: The brief notes that states have primary responsibility for ensuring public safety. This includes a duty to reduce the likelihood that their citizens will fall victim to preventable firearm violence, and to minimize fatalities and injuries when that violence does occur. The brief notes that deciding how best to protect the safety of state residents is a question better suited to legislatures than to courts.
I may support what he's doing with the country, but I don't trust that SOB with our Rights. He cares about how the country works out because he is a businessman and in the end it helps him aquire more money. He doesn't care about our Rights because his money protects him. There is a book out there that "he" wrote in which he stated he supported longer waiting periods and awb

...which is why we remain committed to upholding California’s longstanding, constitutional laws.
No contradiction when it comes to protecting the 2nd. He could have pushed for reciprocity with our pistol permits yet let if fail, folded to the bump stop ban faster than Taco Bell, already stated he doesn't like suppressors, and I'm sure any mags over 10 rounds will also fall into the "don't like them" category.Might want to re-read this sentence and realize the massive internal contradiction contained therein.

His great work for the economy, unemployment, and pushing for a wall isn't ever going to do shit for firearms related bans.
Embolden politicians to ban firearms related issues and other Rights will be next as precedent will be set.
folded to the bump stop ban faster than Taco Bell,
My core rights are more important to me than cyclical economic stuff that presidents really dont have any control over in the first instance but admittedly I am a bit of an absolutist.

But that's my point, awful quick to ban a firearm accessory. As far as I'm concerned a magazine can be obsoleted by manufacturing design, how fast would he ban 30 round mags calling them accessories? What's next, 10 round mags because they can be changed out fast? Trump did NOT need to support the bump stop ban, and might have been able to put a stop to it. You know damn well suppressors will be next when the push comes even though we still can't have them here in NY.Can people stop miss represent what happened with the bump stocks.. the NRA AND Trump were the first out the gate to talk about banning those,
It’s in his mind and he doesn’t have to share it with you. He’s a democrap and therefore much better than you and I are.Where is the proof that (LMAO!) LCM are a safety issue?? Where is your data??
