A family of seven including four children was found dead with gunshot wounds Friday at a rural property in southwest Australia in what could be the country's worst mass shooting in 22 years, police and news media said.

In all serious tho this is a terrible tragedy and i hope their community and family find solace. I can only think how it could have been different if the family had access to defensive firearms for self defense purposes

It's been a bald-faced lie all along that Australia's "gun ban" was effective in getting rid of their guns (60-80% remained, and more are in circulation now than before the 1996 ban).

It's also a complete lie that they'd "never had a mass shooting" until now.

For instance, how many "mass shootings" does the US *really* have, if we apply the same standard used to claim the following shootings in Australia "aren't" mass shootings?
