I know for a fact that people on pain meds, anti depressants and anti psychotic meds can get a permit in NYS.
Id be far more comfortable with a stoner having a gun.
The side effects for anti psychotics can be to become psychotic.
Anti depressant side effects can be suicidal thoughts, worse depression and other forms of psychosis.
Side effects of weed are munchies, red eyes and giggling.

In fact, I think all gun owners should smoke weed. There would be far less crimes commited with guns.
Stoners I know are the most calm, non-violent people I know.
Not much ambition but not violent.
