Hunting is more than bringing down a Big buck ! Glad you enjoyed your selfYeah I know, we talked about that the whole way home. I did see a nice 7 though, just had no shot. In all honestly, this wasn’t really a place for guys like us who hunt regularly, have access to private land and hunt in NJ where even public land bucks are plentiful and big (I’m hunting NJ tomorrow).
It was fun though, the lodge and people were cool and my cousin got to know my buddy (and vice versa). Over all, a good trip.
Of course it is ,but when you are paying an outfitter for the opportunity you would at least like to be put into stands where you have the best chance of taking a nice game animal. Wether that be a guided hunt or not. The camaraderie is nice but you are out there to kill game after all.Hunting is more than bringing down a Big buck ! Glad you enjoyed your self
Yes but some places aren't like petting zoo's I guess it could depends on the size of hunting area's the weather how the game animals feel like that day anything can change the outcome of the hunt . Some places have their game animals contained within a certain high walled areas and can't leave that general space. Others roam free range into state lands and even private property so it all dependsOf course it is ,but when you are paying an outfitter for the opportunity you would at least like to be put into stands where you have the best chance of taking a nice game animal. Agreed . I wouldn’t Ever pay for a “canned “ hunt. However, unless you take the time to learn all that info. In order to hunt the game out of state isn’t that exactly why you pay an outfitter?Yes but some places aren't like petting zoo's I guess it could depends on the size of hunting area's the weather how the game animals feel like that day anything can change the outcome of the hunt . Yeah and No depending on what you're interest are some might just want the experience of a outfitter hunt just like a guided one . New surroundings bucket list a ton of different excuses personally I wouldn't pay for a deer hunt possibly a moose or Kodiak bear huntAgreed . I wouldn’t Ever pay for a “canned “ hunt.
