Its not the mentally ill people that shoot up schools like you think. These are over medicated/over diagnosed people. The US makes up for 5% of the worlds population but we buy 70% of the worlds perscripion mental meds. We are the only country in the world that advirtises perscripions on TV like they are nikes. This is also the only country in the world that expects everyday to be great an wonderful and when it isnt dont worry we have a pill for that. This is the real problem. Kids thay are 20 years or younger brains are wacked perminitly from long use of mental meds. Right now we have the tightest gun laws in US history so why now all the mass shootings?? Makes u wonder

Just looked at an old forum that I was banned from .... I can still read the comments but not participate .... An awful lot of anti-gunners are saying we need to ban ALL semi auto's ..This will be the mantra going forward I fear.

In NY a stan.....the only real difference is the pistol grip on a rifle. If there was none...what would they say then ?

I had this argument with the left.. Cellphone .... It is an object that is useful ... The liberals say a gun only has one use .. designed to kill .... So ban them all .

That may very well happen in the lifetime of young adults moving forward. If we take a look at what commiefornia is doing and many other cities, they're trying to get rid of cars and homeowners. Stack people in small city skyrises and they can pay to rent for a bicycle to get around. Those that still want to drive around will end up paying more parking fees, state taxes, and things of that nature until they drive them away from the people (no pun intended) and nobody bothers with them anymore when self driving vehicles becomes more popular. The result is more control over social engineering. Keep everyone close together and take away independent modes of transportation. More control, and they don't need guns when the surrounding areas are filled with militarized police forces.

Are you anti-2nd Amend. ? Are you pro gun control and liberal a gun-grabber? Well those people believe that government knows best. They are willing to abdicate their personal right of self defense and rely on 911(police) for their safety.

For me - I don't trust the govnt for my personal safefy. 911 is a joke. (The SCOTUS has made it clear multiple time. The Police(govnt) are not obligated and there's no guarantee that they will protect you.). Everyone is responsible for the own safety and defense.

6.8 - Absolutely adequate to kill a full size NY whitetail and I know this from first hand experience. Bolt guns and Mini-30's chambered in the round are uncommon but can be found. Most 6.8 rifles are AR-15s.

Most people that are screaming about banning AR-15s couldn't differentiate between a picture of an AR-15 and an AR-10 (which can be had in chamberings that will ethically take every game animal on this continent).

Right, and I wasn't really referring to a 6.8. When these people say they're not for hunting, they usually are only thinking of one common round, the 223. That's what I was commenting on. Yeah, I can expand my explanation next time (if I bother) to include the fact that these can be chambered in multiple rounds so they can big game.

So, if I read this correctly - essentially a 3/4 disarmament for the public, and life in a police state. Yeah, no thanks. I'll have signs around the property warning that anyone entering with the intention of disarming me will be met with equal force. No FUCKING way am I giving up a SINGLE ONE of my firearms, period.
