You will need a "speed out" screw extractor. It's a drill attachment for removing stripped screws. Keep in mind you will need to have a new way to fix your mag back in place. Either get another Mean Arms lock or what I would recommend is a Prince 50 lock. It's a standard mag release but with a set screw that doesn't allow the button to be pressed to drop the mag. I have one installed without the spring to be extra compliant. That way even if you remove the set screw you cannot insert another mag as the release won't hold it without the screw being reinserted.It's a little red thingy....
I checked the Mean Arms website. Says remove the guts from the mag. Then press down on the mag near the catch to compress the mag. And slide it out. Then insert the replacement. Supposedly a safety tool came with the lock to do this. I'll try a screwdriver or knife to compress it or call the people who built the gun.You will need a "speed out" screw extractor. If you go with the second option you will also need a mag catch witch is only about $5 from a gun store or online.
