It's great show along with Deadwood. It's been perking my interest in the model 1860 army and or the navy. My only black powder gun is a Traditions Pennsylvania rife. I know that you don't need an ffl or an amendment to your permit to buy one of these. How do you go about putting one on your permit? I'm assuming you buy the pistol first since you can without nics or amendment and you'd need a serial#. Is it as simple as going to the clerk's and saying you have bought a black powder pistol you'd like to add to your permit? I'm unsure since with normal pistols you get the bill of sale and amend your permit before you take possession of the gun. Anyone have experience with this? @Robin
