I too am a huge fan of the Tommy gun and this gun doesn’t do it justice. It’s an AR in a .45acp is all it is to me. It misses out on all other aspects of the Tommy gun.I'm conflicted on this one. I like modern firearms, but what makes the Tommy gun desirable today is the iconic design with the attractive looking wood furniture.
This Frankenstein geometry is certainly not ideal if you ask me. The receiver is way too long to be utilizing a full length AR buffer tube. Imagine that stock locked out all the way back, it would be obnoxiously long. They should have made an adapter and lowered the buffer tube underneath the receiver so you could get a familiar natural cheek weld for your AR irons and optics. Just my
