next time you need a knife, a manly knife, a gun lovers knife...
Benchmade seems to be a bunch of assholes.
I like my Cold Steel SRK. A lot.
Love Cold Steel knives. They're my favorite production knives over anything else for a long time running now.
I sent benchmade an email about my clip on my emissary 470 getting caught on my jacket and becoming loose before all this antigun bullshit and still haven’t heard back from them. They say they will replace them for free. Nothing. I bought a titanium one off amazon and I’m done with them.
I bought a $12 boning knife from them and that thing kicks ass. My carry knife is a paramilitary 2 but I'm going to get a few more cold steels for sure
I might try cold steel next, my go to currently is Spyderco.
I am a huge fan of Cold Steel. I own a shit ton of their stuff. To include axes, swords and more.
I'm sure it will collect dust like my slingshot but I think a blowgun is calling my name lol. Have not used one in a LONG time .
Fuck Benchmade, and their weaseling response.
Cold Steel make some awesome chit.
I'm not getting rid of my benchmades...but I won't buy any new ones.
Guess its time to try Houge knives.
First "real" knife I bought years ago was a Recon 1. What a beast of a knife. I let a friend sharpen it on his fancy knife sharpener because the edge finally went bye-bye after so many years, and it was nice to cut stuff w/ it again. It's a well-built knife. I still buy other knives, but I'll definitely always look at a Cold Steel first
Here's a pretty good deal on a Cold Steel SRK. Only $34. I just got one. I'm not a knife expert, but it seems like a good knife to keep in the truck.
FYI that is the one made in Taiwan. I am not a knife guy really either but the US made ones were (are?) made from better steel. I have no experience with this one so not knocking it and at this price I might have to pick one up and compare the two.
I love the design of this knife either way.
Did you register that slingshot comrade?
