Checkout Ruger’s newish Rangler line of revolvers. They are a pretty nice little budget single action revolver that is a blast to plink with and it won’t break the bank.

With Ruger's acquisition of Marlin came the "Glenfield" name for which they applied to the base model "American" Rifle, so now the upgraded version is the "American" and the Base Model is "Glenfield".
On a tangent: I've noticed over the years a LOT of "economy" Rifles looks very similar in Action having a smooth round Bolt with a triangular Lug pattern, alloy receiver, and synthetic stock....to me the Tikka T3 looks remarkably like the Ruger American (several others as well)
