As for red flags, I am adamantly opposed to them 110%. Its unjust to disarm someone without them having a day in court 1st. And even then, the manner in which someone is deemed a threat is very subjective. Some people may be legitimately dangerous others just having a bad day but would never commit a violent crime.
The process is ripe for abuse. You get a leftist judge and a maga hat wearing redneck and the guy could be flagged unjustly.

I'm not reading through all of this but I understand cops have to follow orders. I also understand their oath is there for a reason.Its easy enough to fire a cop for not following an order. Its very hard to fire one for violating thier oath to the constitution.
Trust me there is brass LEOs out there fucking kids, beating their wives into the hospital and all sorts of other debauchery their badge lets them get away with . Its due to politics not the job. Police chiefs are beholden to the mayor/town or county supervisor. Not thier oath or the people they serve. We need all police over LT to be elected by the town or jurisdiction they serve for a start.
This county has been flying off corse for at least a century it wont be fixed overnight . the best we can do is put up a fight and educate the next generation as to what it means to be free.

There are two types of people in this world. Those who get butt hurt and those that don’t. The Yankee Marshall offends a lot people because when he doesn’t like something, he throws a jab in there for effect. These butt hurt people post threads like that because he said the .45 ACP was too slow and only for those who’s balls hang low or appendix carry is dangerous and only tactitards do it. Because of those disagreements, they take things personal. I myself have suffered from butt hurt syndrome here when people get offended when I say something they don’t like like open carry being stupid and get blocked in turn.

While I am definitely anti tyrant, there or tons of good guys in LE that I do not think would carry out any confiscation orders if it was solely related to the ownership of the gun itself and not related to some other type of crime.

I think the biggest misconception when it comes to confiscations is that they will go house to house and street to street. That’s far fetched.

I would say that in regards to ABG, he is not as you say. You would have to know him better and be around longer, but in general there has been a very anti-government sentiment on the forum which I think is a lot of frustration that people are feeling from all the politicians. And while of course the police are agents of the government, it doesn't necessarily mean that anti-government has to be anti police as well.
I am adamantly against red flag laws and confiscation. I think the government has grown far too big and intrusive. But I don't think that means we have to make enemies with the police, at least not as a group. Just as we don't want them treating us as the enemy as a group.

I know who he is. Overall a good guy but if it came down to you or someone in blue, he’d side with the blue everyday. What’s funny is how he makes his displeasure known to the government but if god forbids someone makes their displeasure known to law enforcement, he takes it as a threat on his life personally.

No one is blaming Beto’s comments on time police. What’s being said is who will do the confiscations and who you should really be concerned about because a politician cannot confiscate anything. That’s a fact.
Say what you will and whatever makes you feel better. If you think I hate you personally as a man despite what I’ve said numerous times as far as having a drink with you out of uniform then you must really have issues that go far and beyond this forum. You either have a terrible memory or are a disparager just to get a point across on the Internet.

I’ll say it again. I hate cops as an organization because they do not honor their oaths, promote gun control, and trample on citizen rights. As individual people whether in or out of uniform, it depends on the person themselves just like how I would judge any person whether it be a car salesman or a politician.
