After years of saying that he'd never put forward this type of legislation, here's StumbleFuck now stating that because the Liberals are butt-hurt about recent Supreme Court Rulings, they want to limit their power, authority, and influence. I guess he missed his lessons on how the Three Branches are meant to limit the power of any one branch with checks and balances.

Remember Kids - it's only TRUMP that is an existential threat to "our Democracy" and only TRUMP is a Fascist Authoritarian. The Democrats can change anything they please because it's for THE GREATER GOOD. FFS The Donald better win and stave off these lunatics.

The modern-day Democrats are not the Democrats of your grandfather and probably even your father. The Democrat Party has been hi jacked by the radicals. They just kept the same Party name.

I no longer and haven't in quite some time (since Obama) consider the Democrats to be my fellow countrymen just with bad ideas. Because of their anti-American bullshit, including the stolen Presidential election in 2020. They have become my enemy.

They, the Democrats, sure as hell consider the team I'm on as their sworn enemy, as they make that quite clear with their inflammatory rhetoric. My Governor even told me I have no place in NY, where my family and I live. WTF is that shit?

Because of their open border policy that allows un-vetted military-age males to invade our country and put us all in unnecessary danger plus all of the other dastardly underhanded shit that they have done. They have become my enemy and a danger to my freedom and my way of life. It's so obvious a blind man can see it.

Ho Lee Fuk they were even talking covid camps with no due process. So I do not think I'm in the wrong considering them a dangerous enemy to me and those on the same political page as me.

As far as their fucking lists go, I'm no danger to anyone so they can fuck off.
I just want to be left alone to do the "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" thing.

I believe the greatest argument against this nonsense is to compare the constitution and the reason the third branch of govt was created, to Justice Sotomayor recent dissenting opinion on executive privileged case. No where in her dissent does she cite the constitution to make her case. She merely provides an opinion shared by dissenting members. One based on feelings and not one based in the constitution as task by that same document. This is what judicial activism looks like and its intent is to obliterate any constitutional requirement for laws and to at times circumvent the legislative process. Their discussion of the court at this time is one for votes and nothing more.

I've said it before, my dad was a democrat and likely more conservative than any body on this forum. So were all his friends, all WW II vets. When I was 18 I opted to join the Republican party, most likely because all the adults I knew at the time were Dems.

Her response to this news was "well maybe we DO need to change the Constitution, or throw it out and start over".

She doesn't seem to understand if you throw out the Constitution then our government no longer exists. It becomes nothing more than another dictatorial regime ruling via force and not by the People's will.
Destroy the Constitution and all bets are off. There is no longer ANY legitimacy to those who think they have power. Threats of violence would be the only way left for them to rule.
Some people don't respond well to threats of violence. They tend to get upset and throw their tea in harbors.

Well explain to her the process the founders put in place. Which is a huge hurdle to get by but not impossible. Breaking the rules set by the "people", the constitution in this case, is never acceptable. If rule can easily be broken there is no need to rules and anarchy takes over.

Does she not like the three branches providing the check on power of the others? It's sad because indoctrination works on all minds. Educational level seems not to matter either. I think it comes down to the fact humans need a societal hierarchy and a level of trust in those they allow to control them when you have no control of themselves.

America was an experiment of self rule that didn't fail, it was hijacked by those that need to rule others and accepted by those that need to be ruled.
