You would need 50,000 people who do not care if they are arrested, killed, willing to kill, and willing to never go back home for an armed rally at DC where it’s illegal to have a firearm for it to work.

most of what Bracken writes is believable. I have read His trilogy Enemies: foreign and Domestic, twice. I have read the Red Cliff's of Zerhoun and Castigo Cay. very interesting reads.
