There is still plenty of “idle” time that is not reflected on the odometer. Yes even electric cars will have to run lights and heat and other systems all day for 10 hours or more. Some vehicles like shared police cars and things like that might run for 24+ hours. So they will take an absolute beating and nobody knows how well these cars will hold up under that. Hell your car might not even be charged up when you need to use it again the next morning. And don’t be fooled. There is still tons of maintenance on an electric car. Still pretty much all the same moving parts and systems.

They'll save on brakes due to regenative breaking.

Not sure how many facilities have the power available to put in serious charging stations though.

There are probably a lot of decent size offices that *aren't* in industrial parks with serious 3 phase power available.

You can likely add a couple fast charging ports without a problem. But try adding a couple dozen and you're suddenly looking more like heavy industry than commercial property.
