Biden and his family are all protected by agents carrying 9mm pistols and "assault weapons." Senators and representatives in the Capitol are protected by police with 9mm pistols. Our governors are protected by details with 9mm pistols.
THEY should lead by example. They should disband their security and forego any protection by firearms. Once they do so, I'll consider listening to their proposals about how we're "allowed" to protect ourselves and our families.

Honestly I'm so fed up at this point I hope he tries to ban 9mm by kings decree and then ends up enraging 30 million gun owners who have done nothing wrong and are being arbitrarily affected. Every one of us in NY that has 9mm pistols the state knows who we are.
NY has been bent over for some time now it's about time the rest of the country feels our misery. Maybe if enough people get pissed off some laws will change and we will get some rights back as a result.

This is what I think is the plan given that the Leftist Progressive anti-gun leadership really does know real statistics. They know that most firearm murders are from handguns. They also know that handguns are the most appropriate firearms for personal defense by law-abiding citizens.
1. Ban AR-15 style and other military-style rifles and tell people that they are not even close to banning guns altogether.
2. Tell people that gun violence rates have not declined (they already KNEW that rifles account for only a minimal number of murders per year).
3. Ban all semiautomatic long guns (rifles and shotguns). Tell people that they still have access to plenty of "arms."
