Looks like Hunter was thinking about safety when he bought that ,38 .. He could not take the chance of a dangerous 9 mm when he threw it away in a dumpster....Just a short distance from a school playground.

Let's be practical, the Corpse-in-Chief's reference to 9mm is just a caliber "floor." They'll want to ban everything "more powerful" than 9mm.
They'll create metrics based on projectile weight, velocity, ballistic gel penetration, history, and fear factor.

Banning "military" calibers just makes other calibers popular. Italy came to their senses a couple years ago and removed the 9x19 ban, but in all the years it was banned one could buy the same pistol in 9x21 that was perfectly fine.

As you know, when you enter negotiations, you first reach for the stars and eventually settle on a compromise. Well, perhaps the Democrats are proposing banning all calibers "more powerful" than 9mm. They never expect to accomplish that "dream." So, they'll be willing to compromise with RINOs on "reasonable common sense gun control."
You can just see the RINOs telling us how they protected our 2A rights from the overreaching Democrats. The RINOs will tell us how they protected the most commonly used pistol calibers and "only" agreed to ban "high powered military level calibers" of .223 and up along with pistol calibers "higher than 9mm."
In the end, our 2A rights will be severely infringed as many types of ammunition is made illegal to buy, sell, or even possess.

I do agree that 22 caliber is adequate for home defense though. My PS90 would be my go to for things that go bump in the night now.
