Operation Atlantic Resolve, though not a "named" operation, refers to military activities in response to Russian operations in Ukraine, mainly the War in Donbass.

It was funded under the European Deterrence Initiative.

Thanks for the clarification. There are definitely already plenty of troops in Germany and Poland. Are they in Ukraine itself? I haven't heard any rumors of that from anyone I know. But then again, I imagine it would be more of an Army/AF thing than USMC. Very concerning. These fucking war pigs need to fall off a cliff.

I just Read the order.... He's calling up members of the individual ready reserve for "operation Atlantic resolve".

For those who aren't familiar, every single male has an 8 year military commitment to the US. Most military contracts are either a 4 or 6 year contract. What most don't realize is you're not off the hook after those 4 or 6 years. You then go on "individual ready reserve" status for either 4 or 2 years to complete your 8 year obligation. During the IRR status your are supposed to be keeping yourself in shape and ready to be called back if needed.


Why are we calling back people who are recently separated.... For a "drill" no less... Hmmmmm lemme think.
