Which hill you will die on is less important than which one you will kill for.
They do not mind stepping over your corpse.
But they can't do that if they're dead first.
I am a fair shot with normal military training.

My employer isn't walking back anything, but I haven't checked email since the sixth circuit ruling on Friday. Now I think they will double down on their "fully vaccinated is a condition of employment", and the deadline is 12/31.
Efforts to Stop Biden’s Vaccine Mandate for Private Businesses Reach US Supreme Court
Three companies and Missouri’s attorney general are asking the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) to stay the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates for private businesses with 100 or more employees. Three companies—Phillips Manufacturing & Tower Company, Sixarp LLC, and Oberg Industries LLC—filed an...www.ntd.com
OSHA said in a statement on Saturday that it would not be issuing citations to businesses for noncompliance with any requirements of the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine-or-test mandate for private companies employing 100 or more people until Jan. 10. It will also not issue any citations for noncompliance with the mandate’s testing requirements until Feb. 9.
@Vinson57 Go sue their balls off buddy! Maybe retire early! Can't mandate an EUA! Law is on your side!
"This case is finally where it belongs:"
It should have never had to be a case
Another option: put your money where your mouth is.To survive next COVID-19 surge, Biden’s vaccination mandates must end
It has been common knowledge in healthcare over the past two decades that there is a nursing shortage.www.washingtontimes.com
Cool plan, can we apply it to lung cancer patients who smoke too ?Another option: put your money where your mouth is.
Anybody showing up at a hospital who is unvaccinated and requires treatment for covid (which often runs for weeks and is a ferocious cost of resources) gets second tier attention. They never took the virus seriously. They made a decision they so valued and then want to spend a month in the ICU? Sorry, there are other patients who need care as well.
Better yet, since they think the medical establishment is dishonest and incompetent send them home with as much horse paste as they want and they can follow Facebook therapies to resolve their symptoms.
It’s just like a bad cold or sniffles anyway, why are these unvaccinated even showing up at hospitals? Take some zinc, stop complaining, and cough it out like a man. Stoke that immune system with some chicken noodle soup and get back to work.

How about obese people with, well, a whole list of stuff ?
Should that skateboarder with the broken arm have to go to the back of the line ?
Hey, I think you're on to something. We can probably cut health care costs to almost nothing that way if we identify the real reasons for most illness....
FYI your questions betray the implicit recognition that, in fact, the vaccine does contribute to lower severity of disease.Cool plan, can we apply it to lung cancer patients who smoke too ?

It very well could.FYI your questions betray the implicit recognition that, in fact, the vaccine does contribute to lower severity of disease.
Wonder if he can comprehend this..It very well could.
But the question requires no such assumption.
It merely require *you* to believe it does, it doesn’t have to actually be true.
So, which is it ?
Certainly obesity is a higher risk factor for severe covid than lack of vaccination.
Do you hold them accountable ?
I do, and I am happy to note that my insurance, for example, charges smokers are higher rate.It very well could.

The thing about lung cancer for smokers, it's even easier than taking a shot.I do, and I am happy to note that my insurance, for example, charges smokers are higher rate.
But as to your original point if hospitals were currently being inundated with skate board accidents I would agree let's give skate board injuries second tier attention. Or if there were a way for people who have lung cancer to take a quick needle and massively reduce their rates I would also say if you do not do that simple treatment and still expect care for your lung cancer well you're at the back of the line.
It'd be just like Animal Farm, where everyone's equal, but some patients are MORE equal. Thankfully thats not how our health care system works.Another option: put your money where your mouth is.

The more I think about this... I think another poster said this, not sure if in this thread, or the other thread, but why should they treat you no different? You made the choice of not getting vaxxed (like the vax even works). When I went to the hospital with my covid induced pneumonia, one of the nurses in the ER asked me if I was vaccinated. I said no and then asked if they were going to treat me different because I wasn't. She said no. That would be unAmerican. I said yeah, but there's a lot of that going around. She thought for a moment, paused, and then said yeah, you're right.

It's no different than skateboarding... how many people get hurt and die from that? A lot. However, there are protections you can wear to mitigate that risk (knee pads, helmet, proper clothes, etc), but you choose not to. That is on you if you die or get broken bone from it - you assume the risk of riding that skateboard without protection.
However the line is drawn that you should NOT be treated any different when you go into the hospital for those injuries. Irregardless of what protections are commercially available.
It's also against the Patient's Bill of Rights. You (or family/friend in charge) also have the rights to reject procedures.
Yes, those procedures also include the jab -- which is clearly defined as a medical procedure.
Anyone who feels people should be denied health services because they choose not to submit to an experimental drug should be throat punched! Under Xiden's eyes -- Ahh, they were patriotic and got their shots... they should be put second tier because they "should be OK/survive" because they got the vax.Out of the 6 people I know who currently "have covid", all have been vaccinated and at least two of them have had boosters. Under the current thought here, they should be denied medical treatment because they voluntarily chose a treatment that doesn't work.
