There's no way this mandate can apply to private business when one of the largest public entities is allowed to avoid it. Just misdirection to distract from Afghanistan and this administration's feckless and idiotic behavior.

Watching TV news they not only are postal workers exempt They say nothing about having postal workers getting a weekly test... Like the rest of the folks non vaccinated...

Oh this is going to get good. The numbers of folks willing to work are already shrinking. Hell the local school district here had to cancel school today due to a bus driver shortage.
Several area hospitals are about to go way short on staff due to cumholes mandates.

Is it the postal union that scared the federal mandate away on this?
I expect the majority of holdouts under this to cave and get the vaccine because losing one's livelihood is a terrible burden. But I do expect a very large number of people to refuse, even if they lose their job. There will be more companies like the above one that refuse as well, even if it costs them ferocious fines and potentially liquidates the company.
It would probably have been better to entice people to get the vaccine by giving them some cash award or something. There are definitely some people who would get a vaccine for $1k for example. Not all, though. I really do wonder if biden has a sense about the pushback he'll get on this.

They know that most people work for companies that will fold like a cheap suit and offer no resistance.
Eventually it will be struck down. Of course. But when ? A year from now ? 5 years ?
