Yes, but the more money they print, the more that stays in the state's hands. It doesn't go back to the feds. Eventually, the states won't need help from the feds.

The more they print the less any of it is worth.

The endgame there is a collapsed economy, and the feds printing billion dollar bills and trying to find someone to take them.

States have their own economies and would be very capable of creating their own currency to go along with the failing dollar. States could also do business with each other and let the feds pound salt. In order for the feds to lose power, things will have to become very localized. They are heading in that direction as we speak anyway. If trucks stop rolling and the whole "just in time" way of things is no longer sustainable, things will get a whole lot more local. The feds can print as much money as they want, but if no one is picking it up and using it, it's worthless just like their claim to power.

What's to say (and clearly we can have this discussion now without hyperbole) that if this is allowed to pass and become socially acceptable that next year the new "thing" isn't significantly worse and more intrusive. Maybe the next will be "we all need to get chipped to let the government Automatically monitor our health for us and our locations for contact tracing so we no longer have to worry about it, it's for the greater good after all"

I think a lot of the negative stories on it are crap. The "ingredient list" nutters never change.

Irrelevant. The issue at hand is your right to choose. You have the right to refuse, good or bad. You have the right to make "dumb decisions."

Why are the pro vax people concerned with a mandate? They can take their shot with or without one. It's about control. They want to tell others what to do.

And don't even jest "it's because they care about you." They've said time and time again that non vaccinated shouldn't even be allowed Healthcare or emergency care.

So you can't even spin it to be anything but waiting the power to control others.

I just want to know when the fuck enough will be enough. I’m waiting for the day… I wonder to myself when people are going to hit their breaking point and actually do something. The rights probably is they’re too busy being “law abiding citizens”.

lets run a common FLU scenario

kid wakes for school .. mom / dad i don't fell well .. ( playing hooky from school , common with kids ) , no your going to school ..
kid gets to school .. 3 hrs later call from school nurse .. your child is feeling sick and has a temp of 101F .. can you come and pick him/her up ..
you go pick up your now sick child .. and take him home ..

next school day .. are all the kids from that class home sick with the FLU ..

next school day .. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

It seems to me you’re one of the few who are actually likely to put your money where your mouth is. Most won’t.

There are two ways for people to fight this mandate: 1) legal challenges that have teeth, with the support of courts or state government, or 2) mass non-compliance. But it would have to be potentially seven digit numbers of non compliance—enough that it causes major economic disruption.

The approach here is still strange to me. Other countries have high vaccination rates by other means like vaccine passports, but I am not aware of other western nations threatening livelihoods. Either biden doesn’t know how enraged some will be over this or he does but doesn’t care, and/or wants the fight.

If the US dollar loses it's value the entire global economy collapses. You will literally be reduced to barter.

You are correct, the states can print their own money. So can every Tom Dick and Harry. Unless it's backed by some tangible asset (like a gold standard) it's worth exactly as much as people want to trust it.

It's just like cryoto currency. Anyone can make a new crypto. The barrier to entry is literally "do I want to spend a couple hours screwing around ?"

So, why is a bitcoin worth $50k a piece and a spatcoin not worth the electrons it takes to email it ? Because people trust that someone else will take a bitcoin in trade, and nobody's ever heard of spatcoin before.
