I'm in the same boat. I'm trying not to be checked out at work but the truth is I can't. I was slated to run a multi million dollar company but I wont give up my morals for the all mighty dollar. I need to hurry up and get professional engineering stamp paperwork in while I still have time.Vaccine mandate appears to be inevitable at my job.
Management has had 3 calls with corporate in the last 24 hours, and it appears that info will be passed down to us supervisors within the next few days.
Its very upsetting. I've spent my whole adult life working here, and have progressed from an hourly entry level employee, to a supervisor. Not to mention the corporation has invested 40,000 into me for my bachelors degree. Our site is roughly 35% vaccinated to date. I can see another 15-20% being scared into getting the vaccine.
This site can not survive losing nearly half of the work force. It'll be interesting to see how it will work out.
I've drawn my line in the sand, I will not be getting the jab. It hurts to see that corporate will simply throw me to the curb. I feel betrayed. But, I have lost all respect for this corporation. If they cant respect my freedoms, and stand up for them, I can no longer in good faith perform my duties.

OMG! How could they consider such a thing? In the mist of a Pandemic where the Hospitals are filled to the brim and ambulances are on round the clock Covid patient deliveries. I hear sirens every 5 minutes!!! Lol I better get a vaccine! I'm gonna dieeeee!!!I guess elections have consequences, no? As much as it pains me to say this, let them fall. Let them all fall. Let's have one big "CHAZ." Some people aren't at rock bottom yet.

Clear and wrong.
Yeah this isn't going to happen. They'll just fire them vs spend the money to test, resulting in duress for the non-vaccinated to take medicine they don't want -- which is a violation of Nuremberg code.PDF received this morning.
from David Michaels – ex OSHA’s assistant secretary. He shares some information about what OSHA’s vaccination ETS will and will not require. we don’t know yet what will be included in the final version of the ETS.
Here are some excerpts from his piece.
- To be clear, OSHA will not be issuing any sort of vaccination requirement or mandate itself. Infected workers, many of whom are asymptomatic, transmit the virus when they come to work sick. OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) will tell employers that — just as they are required to eliminate asbestos exposures or provide fall protection for employees working high off the ground — they must also take steps to keep potentially infectious workers out of the workplace, reducing the likelihood that they transmit the virus to their co-workers.
- No employer would be required to vaccinate any employee under the order. Rather, they must ensure that all workers who enter their workplaces are either fully vaccinated (at least 14 days past their final dose of an authorized coronavirus vaccine) or can show a recent test demonstrating they are not infectious.
- Employers would be free to offer non-vaccinated, non-tested workers alternative working arrangements. I suspect many employers would set up testing programs, especially for those workers who choose not to be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons.
Show them this and tell them to get their collective heads out of their ass:PDF received this morning.

Study of Ten Million Finds No Evidence of Asymptomatic COVID Spread | Principia Scientific Intl.
An interesting article from the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) is gaining increased attention as questions about asymptomatic spread of COVID-19, the baseline for all COVID mitigation, is being reconciled with the latest tracing data. In essence, the larger question being asked...principia-scientific.com
Vaccinated People With Breakthrough Infections Can Spread The Delta Variant, CDC Says
In an outbreak in Provincetown, Mass., three-quarters of cases occurred in fully vaccinated people. The study's findings suggest that vaccinated people infected with delta can transmit the virus.www.npr.org
Looks like they should be more concerned about "vaccinated" asymptomatic employees being the spreaders compared to asymptomatic individuals that haven't been "vaccinated."
Yeah but the crux of all this is that the fed has grown too powerful. It can do this because it pulls in so much money it can hurt companies and states with givebacks. The 100+ company mandate allows for weekly testing, right? I suspect there are not enough test sites to support millions of people being tested weekly.
The OSHA bypass is similar to the CDC bypass for evictions. The government could not directly put a moratorium on evictions by edict, so it instead said hey CDC you can do this. It's a dishonest interpretation of CDC's power, and I think the vaccine is for OSHA.
Yeah this isn't going to happen. They'll just fire them vs spend the money to test, resulting in duress for the non-vaccinated to take medicine they don't want -- which is a violation of Nuremberg code.
If the government is footing the bill so it costs nothing time or money wise to the business, then I could MAYBE see this working. I don't see that being offered, though, which means the goal is to intentionally hurt the non-vaccinated.
I have found that also. Unless it's on the nightly news it is labeled as a conspiracy theory. Syracuse news station reported 50% of of the current hospitalized were vaccinated, but was still a pandemic of the unvaxxed. So I asked the believers what do those numbers really mean and no one could think independently enough to against the narrative. That region I believe is around 70% vaxxed range so if the hospital load is 50/50 its is literally effecting the vaxxed more than the unvaxxed.i keep saying that at work.
if anyone has a government study on that let me know. Or Harvard or something big.
they don’t listen to anything else.

That's part of it but I blame, more than that, this horrific reliance on the executive branch to just make shit up when they want and say this is now law. This is something that has been growing for the last three administrations and it has to stop. If this 100+ thing had at least gone to congress then we could have seen a proper debate about it, and when/if it was put to law we could at least know that the government has the authority to do it (notwithstanding SCOTUS challenge). This CDC moratorium, OSHA edict is like the department of transportation mandating vaccines because if you're on public roads and pulled over by the police you need to be vaccinated to protect them.Yeah but the crux of all this is that the fed has grown too powerful. It can do this because it pulls in so much money it can hurt companies and states with givebacks.
The fed should be weakened by bringing down the income it has to throw around, via states and local authorities taking on more infrastructure themselves via cooperation directly.
