When it gets down to it, most people will bend and twist to avoid the problem, but they will not cave completely.
Take SAFE.
Not many rifles actually registered. Lots of people swapping stocks and fixing magazines, but nothing that can't be undone.
Registration and confiscation can't be undone, and I don't think they'll get a lot of compliance on that one.

When Biden TRIES his executive order it will be challenged in federal court the same day. It will make its way to supreme court and be struck down as unconstitutional. The ONLY way this changes in the near future is if the court gets more liberal judges on it over time. Or if they pack the court BUT the ONLY way they do that is have control of the house and senate. So this January GA vote is critical in stopping packing of the court.
If the dems get control of the senate then all bets are off. ANYTHING can happen then. The supreme court in another ruling had the liberal dissenting judges right that. The Second Amendment does NOT give the right to the Individual to own a gun. That clearly isn't correct but that is what they wrote. Ruth was one and she is gone now. BUT still SCARY.
So the 2nd amendment is gone if the dems control the supreme court.

It's not complicated.
An order that pistol braces make a pistol into an SBR would be bad.
An order that the NFA only covers the minimum group of firearms absolutely necessary to satisfy the text of the law would be good.
