So far, I am amazed at the straightforward performance of the CNN moderators. It is not what I expected.

CNN commentator called Biden's performance from the start as dismal
After tonights debate and watching and making personal observations, I am now way closer to "Biden will be forced to step down and get replaced at the dem convention" than I was prior to.
Biden was awful. An absolute embarrassment. He very clearly is not well or fit. The dems are going to know he will lose and IMO they're going to replace him because they know he will lose. He was pathetic. He froze, he looked confused, he looked weak, he out right lied and made up stories, he mumbled, he talked in circles, he stared into space, weird stuff with his eyes and face expressions. Frankly it was a dreadful performance. He's going to be replaced. No chance do they let this guy keep going.

I think that the Democrats along with CNN attempted to bluff Trump by offering up the two debates that they had much control over. Trump called their bluff and here we are.
I hate Trump but I agree. Biden looked and sounded awful. Trump without question looked better on stage.

This was an obvious assassination of Joe Biden's campaign engineered by Democrats who want to replace him. Joe was obviously refusing to give up the mantle, and the powers that be want him out. So Joe is now forced to step aside, clearing the decks for Michelle or Gavin.

To be honest, I wish that after Trump clearly won that he'd have used his closing statement to make a grand, positive, uplifting message...instead of just beating the proverbial dead horse.
I think it may be partly that, but also mostly that Biden isn't willing to look in the mirror and acknowledge that he's old. By old I don't mean old in age, I in mean demeanor. Some people are old at 60, some aren't at 80. Biden is old.
