Let me start by saying FUCK Big daddy unlimited. This statement is 100% my belief even before this little nugget of info came out

But it sounds like BDU is agreeing with the ATF that the triggers they sold are machine guns.. wonder if they will give up members information on who bought the WOT.

Never shot one but if I nderstand ow the work correctly I can see why they are machine guns. Am I correct that you dont take your finger off the trigger? Do you keep constant pressure on the trigger? If so that violates the “one pull one shot “ standard.

The way the law is written, if the gun fires one round with each pull (or movement) of the trigger, its not a machine gun.

These triggers have a mechanically assisted reset on the trigger. The trigger still has to swing back and forth for each bullet to leave the barrel. Therefore they don't meet the legal definition of a machine gun.

The AFT is following the commie-lib trend of using their feelings to try and determine what a machine gun is. They "feel" like these triggers should be machine guns, so that's how they are trying to treat them.

It would be better for everyone if they just followed the letter of the law, and petitioned congress to change the law if they think its inadequate, instead of making up bullshit regulations.

This is how it should work but that would mean the ATF would have to give up that power they have worked so hard for.

So another company designed and was selling a forced reset trigger.


They were making decent sales nothing massive.. ATF sent them a cease and disist, claiming the triggers were machine guns.

The original company said nah atf you can kick rocks and also we are now going to sue you guys so fuck off.. added bonus money from the sales of their triggers would be used for the legal funds to fight the ATF.

Once that all kicked off. BDU copied the above companies trigger design and started selling them at a much less price than the original company in an attempt to under cut the above company

It was so bad that the first company sued BDU for patent infringements. Mind you they were also in a legal battle with the ATF who claimed that they were selling illegal machine guns.


Fast forward and now the shit company BDU is rolling over and siding with the ATF

Think about this. If a FRT is a machinegun so are just about all semi autos that can be bump fired. Maybe this is what the AFT has been doing to get their foot in the door all along.
