That's more a "how it should be handled" than a "how I think it will be handled".Hope you're not holding your breath on that.

Publicly airing your opinion can block you from being a *judge* in a case, but not an attorney AFAIK.So you loose first amendment rights if you argue court cases? Makes no sense.
They would have finished stacking long ago.the founding fathers would have been stacking bodies by now,
Agreed and that’s why I was questioning it. Judges are different and need to be impartial for very good reason.Publicly airing your opinion can block you from being a *judge* in a case, but not an attorney AFAIK.
That's why judges shouldn't publicly discuss such things in general, they may have to recuse themselves more often.
For an attorney OTOH having a large body of youtube videos* on the subject could hurt your case, but it wouldn't prevent you from arguing it.
*your opponents can comb through all your material for snippets that they can twist to support their side.

Good representation costs real money. Just the way it is.And our attorneys were beyond embarrassing. NY's attorney kept attacking standing. None of our attorney's did a good job of even making the arguments using Bruen's salient points to effectively attack NY. Just fucking pitiful.
If justice is for sale, then it's not justice.Good representation costs real money. Just the way it is.
No it's capitalism. Just like anything else in the USA. Better welders get paid more. Better carpenters get paid more. Better coders get paid more. Lawyers are no different... and since you need to pay for your own representation that's how it is.If justice is for sale, then it's not justice.
I wonder how much digging had to be done to find it! Seems like he is in the crosshairs. Yet, the fact Letitia James is now worth millions and Obama, Pelosi, etc. just keep on getting richer and no one seems to care.Clarence Thomas seems to be in the beginning of a shit storm for a loan that was given to him without any payments due.
But a justice system where the quality of your lawyer (beyond just "competent") can effect the outcome by definition doesn't deliver justice. No it's capitalism. Just like anything else in the USA. To be justice, the verdict should be based solely on the facts and circumstances, and not on such ephemeral qualities as how well your lawyer can package them.
You want your justice system to be set up like McDonalds, where you can get a reasonable quality burger no matter whether it was cooked by a high school student or a Michelin starred chef.
One of the consequences of that is they pay similar wages to all the burger flippers, regardless of how good they are.
Politicians will *NEVER* repeal bad laws. Their only job is to make MORE laws. What you’re referring to in the court system is called “jury nullification.”If anything many laws are unfair, but that's not up to the judiciary to correct, that's up to the legislature.

They should be able to sell them for whatever the market will bear.Every lawyer does meet a minimum standard. They have to be accepted into thr bar for their state.
Want or not, the quality of the lawyer just like any profession impacts the results.
If anything the fairness should be built into the system, which it generally is. Can you come up with a more fair way that also protects individual freedom to choose your representation? If anything many laws are unfair, but that's not up to the judiciary to correct, that's up to the legislature.
Why shouldn't they be able to sell their services for whatever price they deem fit? Do you want that in your profession - the government to dictate your wages? That's a horrible idea if so. If I as a client want to pay more for a better lawyer that should be up to me.

It's very telling that in a thread about 5 2A cases challenging NY's tyranny, the only thing we have to talk about is overly-expensive food.
Why hasn't something been done on these cases?
Why haven't the lawyers appealed the 2nd Circus's apathy to the S.C.?
Why haven't there been "mostly peaceful" demonstrations against the civil rights violations going on here?
